For eleven years I dreamed of Tuscany. Two years ago we packed up and moved to Riparbella — spontaneous, without preparation, without a plan.
The village adopted us as family. And because no one could pronounce my Dutch name, they renamed me: Mario il Ollandese.
Now our son Elio is also a Riparbellan. Casa Mario is our gift to everyone who wants to experience this village the way we do.
We're not an Airbnb "property". We live here. When you stay at Casa Mario, we're a two-minute walk away — to hand you the keys, point you to the bakery, share a bottle of wine on day three. This isn't a service. It's how we live, and you're welcome to it.
